Two Steps Forward, One Step Back

Through the lens of ultra-endurance cycling, where riders cover thousands of kilometers across countries, mountains, and sleepless nights. The film follows Cynthia Carson as she navigates two years marked by unpredictable turns: canceled races, crashes, mechanicals, and the relentless demands of the Transcontinental Race across Europe. Each obstacle could have been the end, but instead became part of the journey.

This is more than a film about sport. It is a reflection of life itself. How goals shift, setbacks arrive without warning, and progress rarely comes in a straight line. Two Steps Forward, One Step Back reminds us that momentum is built not by avoiding obstacles, but by finding the courage to move through them, one step, or pedal stroke, at a time.
