About this event

Recommended for ages 12+

Who was Mademoiselle D'Jeck, and what crimes did she commit? What did the Bell family see in Leam Lane all those years ago? Can donkeys fly? Author Rob Kilburn explores weird and wonderful tales of Tyne and Wear, and will be on hand to answer questions afterwards.

This talk forms part of Newcastle Cathedral’s ‘Brilliant Beasts’ season, which takes place across summer 2022. As well as activities and events inspired by creatures hidden throughout the Cathedral, you can come along for the usual array of music, worship, talks and tours. For more information, visit newcastlecathedral.org.uk/summer-2022

This talk is hosted on a Pay as You Feel basis (with a minimum fee of £1 to attend). We would be very grateful if you are able to donate more; a £5 donation is suggested, which will go towards the running of events like this and the continued work of the Cathedral.

Tickets will be available on the door, but we recommend that you book in advance to reserve your space.
