Type 1 Sports Day Leeds

Come along to the Leeds Type 1 Sports Educational Day at Temple Moor High School where you will find out more about how to exercise and play sport safely whilst managing type 1 and meet other families and adults affected by type 1 diabetes.
The children can take part in the activity sessions with people who have type 1 (or who have an understanding of type 1) and the sports people will explain how they manage their diabetes within their sport. Parents can watch the session and ask questions as it is happening if they wish, or alternatively listen to our speakers.

There will also be opportunity to speak to the Yorkshire and Humber Children and Young People’s Diabetes Network to find out more on how they make a difference and the support they offer.
