The Third Age Trust is delighted to announce a live online presentation with Q&A about how to make sports accessible for your U3A

About this event

The session will be delivered by Richard Hill MBE. Working for the England & Wales Cricket Board, Richard’s involvement in disability cricket spans over 25 years. Richard has been at the forefront of development of disability cricket across the UK and his work includes developing formats of the game to make it as accessible as possible for people with disabilities and long-term health conditions. In doing so, he has created formats such as Wheelchair Cricket and Clock Cricket, as well as being the national lead for Walking Cricket with the English Cricket Board.

This online event is aimed at members who already attend an adapted sport group and anyone considering setting one up within their U3A. It is an opportunity to learn more about how to make sport, in particular cricket, inclusive and enjoyable for all.

The session will feature a presentation and Q&A from Richard.

So join us on Friday 4th September at 2pm to hear more from Richard and learn about how to make sport in your local U3A accessible for all.

Details on how to join the event via Zoom are included in your ticket confirmation.
