Beacon is a management system designed by u3as, for u3as. You can find out more about Beacon on the Beacon website.
In this session, we will cover
- The benefits to u3as of using Beacon;
- How u3as can implement Beacon and what support they get from the Beacon Team;
- Plans for delivering Beacon 2; and
- How Networks and Regions will benefit from Beacon 2.
The session will comprise around an hour of presentations followed by a Q&A session of about 30 minutes.
The presenters will be
- Frank Bailey, Beacon National Support Lead;
- Ken Wheatley, Beacon Communications sub-Team Lead; and
- Adam Walton, Beacon Project Executive.
The session will run on Microsoft Teams or Zoom (TBC). You do not need an account but you will need either a compatible web browser or the relevant app installed on your machine.
