The University Accessibility Comparison Project aims to compare universities on measures of accessibility and thereby allow individuals to make an informed choice in terms of disability support, while also allowing Universities to improve. The video below describes the project.

Once a month we meet to put together questions that will allow us to compare universities on measures of accessibility.

This month the focus will be on the Accessibility of Teaching and Learning Resources for disabled students. There will be a short presentation on this, discussing the main issue that may arise. Following this there will then be a discussion in which it is hoped with your input questions may be formulated which can be put to students. In order to assess the prominence of accessibility issues in regards to teaching and learning resources. As well as how universities are tackling these issues and whether thier responses are effective. With the goal, that this data may help students make an informed descion when choosing a university and may help universities see how they are performing in regards to this area of accessibility.

Anyone with an interest in HE accessibility is welcome. the event will be on Google Meet, a platform that provides automatic captions. You are free to attend with camera and mic off or contribute via the chat function if you prefer. We will take a break after 40 minutes and you are free to arrive late or leave at any time.
