About the speaker
Marlene Wylie is co-author of Visualise: Race and Inclusion in Secondary School Arts (2024), published by the Runnymede Trust and Freelands Foundation. They were the President of the National Society for Education in Art and Design from January 2023 to December 2024.
About the organizing team
UAL’s Black History Month collective consists of Jason Forrest, Omolara Obanishola, Dionne Elizabeth, Huguette Tchiapi, Mel Makongo and Sophie Kabangu. They have been supported by the Social Purpose Innovation Fund and the EDI team, part of the People and Culture Department.
Venue details and access
London College of Communication is located at Elephant and Castle. There is step free access and facilities throughout the building.
Registration is essential for external guests to enter the building for the event. UAL staff and students must bring their staff or student card.
