UASNL are a group of Dutch universities of applied sciences, bringing regional research and innovation to the European level. In a series of lunch sessions we discuss how applied research contributes to societal impact and the SDGs. This first edition will focus at SDG11: Sustainable Cities and Communities. In a talkshow setting researchers will be interviewed on their research, projects and ambitions. The researchers will bring their own perspective on the topic to the table, presenting a broad scope of research and innovation on Sustainable Cities and Communities.
This first edition will kick off with the following speakers:
- Mieke Oostra, HU UAS Utrecht
- Iain Macdonald, ArtEZ University of the Arts
- Olivier Schalm, Antwerp Maritime Academy
Mr. Vilalta (Director of GUNI and Executive Secretary, ACUP) will contribute to this event by presenting the SDGs from a global perspective.
The session will be moderated by Nurhan Abujidi, Zuyd UAS
