The UBS Hong Kong Open will be among the headline opening acts on the 2017 European Tour season and the closing events on the 2016 Asian Tour season after tournament organisers announced the date of December 8-11, 2016.
Won by Englishman Justin Rose last October, the UBS Hong Kong Open will return to the Hong Kong Golf Club for the territory’s longest-running professional sporting event, which was established in 1959 and has been staged at the iconic Fanling venue since its inception.
Tri-sanctioned by the European Tour, the Asian Tour and the Hong Kong Golf Association, the UBS Hong Kong Open will carry a prize purse of US$2 million.
The UBS Hong Kong Open boasts an impressive roll of honour, with past champions including Peter Thomson, Greg Norman, Ian Woosnam, Bernhard Langer and Tom Watson and, more recently, José María Olazábal, Colin Montgomerie, Padraig Harrington, Rory McIlroy, Ian Poulter, Miguel Ángel Jiménez and current champion Rose.
If you travel by public transport:
You can catch the complimentary shuttle bus from Sheung Shui MTR East Rail Line station (Exit C).
Departures will be every 30 minutes, starting from 7:00 am to 6:00pm on Thursday, from 7:00 am to 7:30 pm on Friday; and every 15 minutes from 8:00 am to 7:30 pm Saturday to Sunday.
Alternatively you can catch a taxi from the station for a short 5 minute ride.
Free Bus Service from Central IFC Mall and Kowloon Tong MTR:
A free bus service to the UBS Hong Kong open will operate from Central and Kowloon Tong from Thursday to Sunday

All Public Shuttles are on a first come, first served basis.
If you drive:
Follow the Tolo Highway and leave it at the exit sign for Shek Kong and Kwu Tung. As you enter Fan Kam Highway, the club is about 450 metres from the highway, with the car park on your left and the clubhouse on your right.
Please note that parking space is limited and available on first come first served basis. Additional public parking will be available at the North District Hospital. The standard parking fees will apply.

The use of mobile phones is permitted but restricted to dedicated areas only, where event signage will refer to them as “mobile phone zones”. Only in these dedicated areas can calls be made or received, however
phones must remain on silent at all times.
The use of any cameras, computers and other electronic equipment at the Tournament Thursday to Sunday is not permitted other than with the proper accreditation.Cameras are allowed during the Pro Ams on Wednesday.
Making or distributing broadcasts, commentary, news reports, data, results or statistics by any means
in any format or media including any such by mobile phone or other wireless device is not permitted.
Ticket holders consent to being photographed, filmed and recorded at the Tournament (including by
CCTV), and consent to use of any such film, image or recording at the discretion of the promoter and/
or European Tour and their licensees and partners without compensation or notice.
No dogs (other than guide dogs) or other animals are permitted on the course.
All promotional, commercial, political, religious or offensive items of whatever nature including, but
not limited to, clothing, banners, signs, symbols and leaflets are prohibited.
The ticket holder must comply with all relevant statutes, signs, safety announcements, directions of
stewards and ground regulations whilst attending the Tournament. Breach of any of these conditions
or any unacceptable behaviour likely to cause damage, nuisance or injury shall enable the venue or
event management to revoke this ticket and to eject the holder without compensation.

Is my registration/ticket transferrable?
Tickets are non transferable. Any transfer of this ticket will render it void.
The ticket remains the property of the Tournament at all times.
Can I update my registration information?
You can update registration prior to arriving at venue
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
Print at home tickets must be brought to the venue. Lost, stolen or damaged tickets cannot be replaced.
What is the refund policy?
