The Ubuntu Developer Summit is the event at which we plan for the forthcoming version of Ubuntu. It brings together Canonical engineers, community members, partners, upstream representatives and cloud specialists, in an environment of active debate.
Please note that as well as registering with Eventbrite, you also need to register on Launchpad. Launchpad links to the back-end system we use to manage attendance, so you must still register on it to confirm that you’re coming. It also allows those running sessions to upload their blueprints.
When & Where
Canonical is the commercial sponsor of the Ubuntu project and the leading provider of enterprise services for Ubuntu cloud deployments. Ubuntu is the underlying Linux server platform for 65% share of workloads on public clouds and 74% share of OpenStack deployments. We are the leading platform for OpenStack with 55% of all production OpenStack clouds based on Ubuntu OpenStack*.
Telcos and cloud service providers trust Ubuntu for OpenStack and public cloud and it is used by global enterprises such as AT&T, Comcast, Cisco WebEx, Deutsche Telekom, Ericsson, China Telecom, Korea Telecom, NEC, NTT, Numergy and Time Warner Cable.
A founding member of the OpenStack Foundation, Canonical also has a long history of interoperability testing between OpenStack, Ubuntu and partner technologies. Its OpenStack Interoperability Lab (OIL) currently tests over 3,500 combinations per month. Customers include blue-chip references in telecommunications, finance, media and government sectors.
