Event description

Description

On behalf of The Presidents of the University of California Alumni Networks in London,

You are warmly invited to attend the third annual UC Alumni UK Charity Gala on Saturday 17th March 2018 at the historic Bloomsbury Hotel, London.

Join alumni, parents, students and friends from all 10 UC campuses for a dazzling occasion that raises funds for scholarships for UC students. The evening includes a cocktail reception, 3-course dinner, silent auction, prize draw, DJ and dancing into the night!

The silent auction and prize draw include spectacular prizes - such as a two-night stay at the luxurious Westbury Hotel in Dublin - the proceeds from which all go to support UC student scholarships. Check out prizes from last year’s gala here.

Our keynote speaker is UCLA alumnus ('82) and parent ('17) Frank Spotnitz, acclaimed writer and producer of such shows as Medici: Masters of Florence, The Man in the High Castle, and The X-Files. Frank will share insights on the changing nature of television in the 21st century, as well as his personal journey from UCLA to being CEO of Big Light Productions, one of the fastest growing production companies in Europe. We will also have comments from a scholarship donor and student scholarship recipient.

We look forward to seeing you there!

Dress Code: Black Tie

Please note there are a limited number of tickets available at the reduced early bird rate, once these are sold out, or from the 1st January, the price will increase.

Should you have any questions or if you would like to sponsor a table, donate an item to the silent auction, or make a pledge to scholarships at your campus please contact us at alumni@californiahouse.org.uk or call 020 7269 5917.
