About this Event

About the Speakers

Oliver Raper

Oliver Raper was born in Cape Town, South Africa and educated in Johannesburg. He commenced his preparation for ministry by studying at the Apostolic Faith Mission Theological Seminary. At the age of 20, Oliver interrupted his formal studies to travel extensively as a singer/musician in the USA. He later completed his Theological studies at the Elim Bible College and the University of London, as well as earning the Oxford Diploma for Public Speaking. After studying, Oliver and his wife, Brigitte, established the UK office for Pastor Reinhard Bonnke of Christ For All Nations, and worked into Africa for the next 15 years. He subsequently pastored one of the fastest growing churches in the UK, before sensing that God was speaking to him about returning to his beloved home – Africa. This led Oliver to become the Director for CV Africa in 2005. Remaining committed to equipping believers of all ages to have a personal relationship with God that expresses itself in evangelism, Oliver and Brigitte relocated to the UK in April 2018, where Oliver is now the Director for Christian Vision UK and Europe.

Philippa Hanna

Singer songwriter, Philippa Hanna is also an internationally published author with over 1500 live shows, two books and five studio albums to her credit.

For those who see Philippa and husband Joel in concert, a ‘down-to-earth’ fusion of candid storytelling and catchy songs makes for an unforgettable evening. Having toured with the likes of Lionel Richie, Leona Lewis, Wet Wet Wet, Little Mix and many more, Philippa also has an established presence in the Christian music world, racking up collaborations with Kevin Max of D.C Talk fame, Graham Kendrick, and Christian hit writer Chris Eaton. Churchgoers often realise mid-concert how well they already know the music, thanks to Philippa’s regular features on TBNUKs ‘Praise The Lord’ and BBC ‘Songs of Praise’. Her songs are played daily on Christian radio with popular hits like Raggedy Doll, The Daffodil Song, Arrow and Off The Wagon getting regular spins.

What is Foundation?

Leadership of any kind can be incredibly rewarding, but it often also comes with challenges and discouraging times. UCB's Foundation events provide an opportunity to get away for a short time and be spiritually topped up in a dynamic faith-filled atmosphere.

Each event begins with praise and worship and prayer and is followed by a speaking session. Our speakers come from different walks of life but each comes prepared to share an encouraging message from God’s Word.

Due to the current situation with Coronavirus, Foundation will be an online event only.

Details of how to join the event, will be sent out closer to the time.

10:30: Coffee and Virtual Networking
