UCILS Reading Club - 14 December 2016 Session
UCILS reading club is the venue for Utrecht scholars to gather around seminal and new writings in international law, global governance, and legal theory. The purpose of the UCILS reading club is to push legal scholars out of their natural comfort zones and confront them with alternative perceptions of the world. The end result is a brainstorm of theoretical questions over the global polity which international law is supposed to regulate.
On 14 December 2016, we will discuss Surabhi Ranganathan, Strategically Created Treaty Conflicts and the Politics of International Law (CUP, 2014), focusing on chapter 3.
