UCL Enterprise Fellowship Programme: Part 2 (Advanced)
Date and time
Location
UCL BaseKX
103c Camley St London N1C 4PF United KingdomDescription
This free programme of six afternoon workshops for UCL postdocs and academic staff explores a selection of topics that are critical to any entrepreneurial venture. Each weekly session is led by an expert in the relevant subject, providing practical insight into implementing and managing different elements required to achieve entrepreneurial success. By developing your entrepreneurial mind-set you will enhance your ability to create impact when engaging with businesses and other organisations operating outside the academic sphere.
What to expect
The programme will equip you with skills and knowledge that will enable you to engage with organisations outside of academia for a variety of reasons. This could be to make connections to further your research, or to engage in activities that generate impact, to explore licencing opportunities for your IP, or even to spin out companies based on the findings of your research.
Who's it for?
This programme is open to UCL postdocs and academic staff from any discipline who are curious about entrepreneurship and interested in developing their entrepreneurial skills. Prior business experience is not required, nor do you need to be an aspiring entrepreneur or have a business idea. Having completed Part 1 of the Enterprise Fellowship will be an advantage, but is not essential. Delegates should attend as many of the six sessions as possible and at least five out of six sessions to receive an Enterprise Fellowship certificate.
