The UCL Institute for Risk and Disaster Reduction will hold it's third Careers and Opportunities Forum and Reception on Tues 3rd March 2015, 16:30 - 19:30
Undergraduates, postgraduates and anyone else interested in careers, courses, experiences, and volunteering in risk and disaster reduction are invited to attend.
Exhibitor stalls in the North Cloisters, with refreshments and networking opportunities
Talks followed and Q&A from experts in the NGO, finance, insurance, and academic sectors, 16:30-17:30 Chadwick G08 LT
Dr Joanna Faure Walker of the IRDR, Dickie Whitaker of the Financial Services Knowledge Transfer Network, and representatives from the NGO and government sectors will give short talks and answer audience questions. They will talk about opportunities available in NGOs, industry, government and academia, how to make the most of these opportunities, and how to maximise your potential of getting these opportunities. These presentations will be followed by Q&A where you can ask questions about the types of opportunities they have introduced.
