About this Event
We are delighted to bring to you a Lecture Series Christmas Special to end 2020. The lecture series is designed to inspire you with the fascinating world of medical science.
Join us on the 8th December 5:00 pm (GMT), for ‘Oh I wish it could be Christmas dinner everyday!’, a lecture and Q&A with UCL’s Professor Nathan Davies.
Christmas dinner is the most anticipated meal of the year. For many people, this involves weeks of planning to ensure everything is just right for the big day. In this talk we will take a closer look at our Christmas menu to see how it stacks up in terms of the healthy and not so healthy components. We will see whether it is possible to achieve your ‘five-a-day’ in a single meal and ask the question of just how many chocolates you should eat? Also, if Father Christmas stops for a mince pie in every house, how much exercise does it take to burn off the calories?
