At TechTonic this March we are delighted to welcome Jason Kingdon.

Jason is one of the UK's leading technology entrepreneurs and has over 15 years' experience of building successful international software businesses. He founded Searchspace, a big data AI analytics business, whilst a researcher at UCL. After successfully raising venture finance it was sold to Warburg Pincus for an estimated $140M. Now chairman of Blue Prism, one of the rising stars of UK software, he maintains close links to the university and serves as a member of UCL’s Enterprise Advisory Board.

Jason has first-hand experience of building an extremely successful company based on research level science from UCL. He will be giving us his insight on how he did that, and some of the lessons he learnt along the way.

Dr Mark Gostock, Senior Business Manager from UCLB, will also take us through how the commercialisation team identifies opportunities and how you can assess whether your idea could be commercially successful.
