on behalf of James Mountford and Kate Hall
We would like to invite you to the next UCLPartners Quality Forum, hosted by Care City.
Time and venue are: Friday 18 November 2016, from 14:00-16:55 at UCLPartners, 3rd floor, 170 Tottenham Court Road, W1T 7HA. CLICK FOR FULL ADDRESS AND MAP.
At this forum, our theme is: Quality & Improvement across a whole system.
We are delighted to be joined by Professor Jason Leitch, National Clinical Director for NHS Scotland. Jason’s background is as an academic dentist before designing and delivering a national quality improvement programme across NHS Scotland. This started with the Scottish Patient Safety Programme and now ranges widely across the NHS and other public services, notably education. Jason will describe Scotland’s journey and the importance of links between health and other sectors.
From our hosts Care City their new CEO John Craig will introduce its healthy ageing and social regeneration and the particular opportunities presented by this unique collaboration between health and council for whole system, multi sector reform.
Care City is a Healthy Ageing Innovation Centre that has been created by local health and social care partners to deliver measurable improvements in health for the population across Barking and Dagenham, Havering and Redbridge, and to act as a catalyst for regenerating one of London’s most deprived regions. See their website at www.carecity.london for more details.
As ever, around all the talks we will ensure plenty of time for debate and discussion.
