Each One, Reach One, Teach One.
(Limited number of places available, please note that to guarantee a place for this event you have to book a place online).
Our young people will learn about the presence of Black people in Britain and their influence on this island and worldwide. Our young people will examine their Black story before enslavement.
Our young people will leave this sessions with a fresh view of their history, with transferable skills in critical thinking, contributed to discussion and with a want to continue learning about their history. Attending this event gives the young people a sense of self which builds confidence.
What should your child prepare or bring to the workshop?
• Completed consent form.
• Pack lunch.
• Water bottle.

Our group have been working in the Chapeltown, Leeds community area (Chapel Allerton Ward), since March 2015. We are a community organisation which is managed by members from the local community.
Unity Does MAATer (UDM) is passionate about raising the aspirations of young people of an African/Caribbean background, as they are our future!
