The UEL Professional Doctorate in Clinical Psychology invites you to an evening talk.
This event will be useful for you if you are interested in a career in clinical psychology, and especially if you are planning to apply to the UEL programme now or in the future.
There will be a presentation by the programme's Admissions Tutors covering:
(a) the UEL approach to clinical psychology and clinical psychology training;
(b) entry requirements for the UEL DClinPsych programme; and
(c) an overview of the programme selection procedures for the 2016-2017 recruitment round.
There will be the chance to meet with programme staff and to ask questions.
For further information on the programme, please see the UEL web page here:
What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
The main entrance to the Stratford campus is just off Water Lane, E15 4LZ. Room CC.1.01 is up the stairs just past reception. The nearest Tube, Overground, DLR and rail station is Stratford, from where it is easy to walk or take a taxi to the university. Maryland rail station is nearby, on the line between Liverpool Street and stations in Essex. Bus 308 serves Water Lane, while nearby Romford Road is served by buses 25 and 86. We have sheltered parking for bicycles on campus. There is very limited car parking available on nearby streets. The nearest public (paid) car park is at Morrisons supermarket (The Grove, Stratford, E15 1EN).
Walking from Stratford station takes around 10 minutes. At Stratford station exit, turn left to follow Great Eastern Road for around ½ mile (this takes you over the junction with Angel Lane). You will arrive at main junction where there is a large Morrison’s supermarket ahead of you. Cross here so that you are in front of the supermarket, then walk 10 metres to your left, to cross over the small junction with the supermarket car entrance. Take an immediate right down a small pedestrian alley to reach Manbey Street. Bear slightly right to continue down Manbey Street to Water Lane. Turn right onto Water Lane, then cross the road and take the next left (The Green). The main University entrance is to the left of the gates (marked the Conference & Computing Centre).
Where can I contact the organiser with any questions?
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
Yes: you will need your ticket to gain entry at reception.
The name on the registration/ticket doesn't match the attendee. Is that okay?
No: your ticket must show your name and is not transferable.
