The Quiet Girl - Film Screening

Come join us for a special film screening of The Quiet Girl at Castlehaven Community Cinema. The UFP Film Club is excited to support Castlehaven as part of their world cinema series.

Refreshments (including snacks and hot drinks) will be available. Guests are also welcome to bring their own. Doors open from 5.45pm and the film will start at 6.15pm. Film Talk will commence 5 minutes after the film ends. See you there!

Tickets for this event are free with the option to donate as an "Add -on". All proceeds will support the UFP Film Club in bringing you future exclusive events.

Set in rural Ireland,1981, nine-year-old Cait (Catherine Clinch) is sent away from her overcrowded, dysfunctional family to live with distant relatives for the summer. Quietly struggling at school and at home, she has learned to hide in plain sight from those around her. As Cait blossoms in her new home where there are meant to be no secrets, she discovers one painful truth
