Event description
The University Graduate School is thrilled to launch an exciting new series of events to bring together the postgraduate community at UoB.

About this event

The University Graduate School presents a new series 'UGS Talks' - bringing UoB’s postgraduate community together with a range of thought-provoking talks and the chance to get to know each other, whatever your discipline might be.

Introduced by senior academic staff, these interdisciplinary talks are a chance to enhance your postgraduate network and hear about current UoB research, future pathways, and real-world impact.

UGS Talks - Main Event

Join UGS Talks for fascinating insights into life after postgraduate study. Introduced by the University Provost and Vice-Principal, Professor Tim Jones and Dean of Postgraduates, Professor Duncan shepherd. Followed by talks from Birmingham postgraduate alumni, sharing the journeys of their careers: the highs and lows, the vital skills they learnt as postgraduates, and their advice to those graduating into a post-COVID world.
