UHD Birth Preparation Class

This class runs over 2 consecutive weeks, with each session lasting 90 minutes. You are welcome to access this course at any stage in your pregnancy, but we would recommend booking from your third trimester.

Whether you're delivering in hospital or at home, expecting a vaginal delivery, planning for a caesarean or waiting for your induction date there will be plenty of information to help you feel prepared.

These sessions also include a virtual tour of the unit and the opportunity to "Meet Your Team" so that you are familiar with the different people you may meet during your birth. We will cover information about newborn care and what to expect in the first days too. There will be lots of opportunity to ask questions throughout. We look forward to seeing you!
