With 1 in 4 people already experiencing mental health issues each year in the UK and statistics showing that this figure is likely to rise. Staff may be returning to work after such unprecedented times facing situations and anxieties never faced before. Therefore, it is as equally, if not more important than ever to make sure that you and your staff have the skills it takes to support people experiencing mental health difficulties. This two-day training course is for individuals wanting to learn more about how to support people who may be struggling with poor mental health. We cover the mental health continuum, the most prevalent mental health conditions, how to take positive actions and provide you with a practical approach on how to assist people through difficult times. It is a full and informative 4 x 2.5 hours sessions starting at 10:00 on 5th, 7th, 11th and 13th January. Training hosted by a Qualified Nurse, Trainer, Mental Health Assessor, Experienced Manager and Mental Health First Aider.
