UK based Industry leading Unconscious Bias Training for execs and managers
Event Information
About this Event
Unchecked unconscious or implicit biases in the workplace can lead to poor outcomes on the balance sheet and can have negative effects to the processes of innovation. This bold statement is supported and mirrored by a growing body of research which suggests that organisations which don't encourage diversity at the executive level risk the return on equity, earnings and share price. By extension, diversity needs to be encouraged within the whole staff community to enable greater innovation and better productivity. If honestly held entrenched attitudes are getting in the way, training about the personal biases we all naturally hold can help.
At the end of this 4hr workshop attendees will be able to:
- Define Unconscious Bias and apply the concepts to their work and home lives.
- They will be equipped to debate the value of managing personal biases within the workplace and within their personal sphere.
- They will understand the actions that businesses can take to ensure that unmanaged personal bias does not interfere with the equality and inclusivity objectives of the business.
The 4hr workshop includes a "working lunch", so have something easy to eat whilst you attend.
