The Superwoman Conference is B A C K this and we'll be exploring the extent to which education in the UK has acted as tool or a limitation for Black women with an exciting panel of inspirational speakers, a dynamic performance, interactive discussion and lots FREE give aways.

At this event, O P E N for A L L to attend (yes, men that includes you), Superwoman 2017 aims to bring people together to celebrate the strength and achievements of women of colour in UK.

J O I N U S on Thursday 23 November 2017, 6pm in the Henry Thomas Room at the London Metropolitan University, Holloway Road and interact with our inspirational panel as we delve into deep discussions based on Black British experience in the UK.

Our amazing speakers include:

• Dr Nicola Rollock | award-winning academic, Reader in Equity & Education at Goldsmiths, University of London. Nicola is interested in strategies to further racial justice in education and the workplace.

• Marion Osieyo | International Development Specialist and Writer who worked in Europe, Africa, Middle East and South-East Asia with civil society and local and national governments.

• Peju Oshin | Curator, Educator & Freelance Consultant who has developed and delivered exhibitions and programmes with The National Gallery, Wellcome Collection, V&A and London Transport Museum to name a few.

• Renee Sterling | Vice President at a global investment bank in the City. She works in the Finance Division in the Regulatory Reporting team, an advocate for mentorship and diversity and a member of the Steering Committee in her firm's EMEA Firmwide Black Network.

Mariam Mola | Author, Speaker & Founder of the UK’s Leading Female Mentoring Initiative @mentormatcher,

This is the third 'Superwoman' conference. In the first year we focused on Women in Leadership, celebrating strength in womanhood. The second year focused on the impact of Black women in British society. Panel guests have included award winning writer Reni Eddo-Lodge, dynamic spoken-word artist DYLEMA & Tobi Oredein, editor of online lifestyle platform, Black Ballad UK

General Admission is £10.
