UK-GBC 10th ANNIVERSARY EVENT

Each year we celebrate UK-GBC’s birthday with an exclusive evening reception at a high-profile London venue. In 2017, we are planning a show-stopping event to celebrate 10 years of UK-GBC – a major milestone for us, our members, friends and partners. The event will take place during World Green Building Week, the flagship initiative that celebrates the global green building movement.

UK-GBC’s birthday reception event is typically designed as a fairly informal networking opportunity for members. But this year it will be unique for a number of reasons. We will be going all-out to celebrate what UK-GBC, our members, and the wider industry have so far achieved since our official launch ten years ago, whilst also setting out our vision and ambitions for the future of the built environment. We will be hearing from some of the UK and world’s green building gurus, and showcasing a number of sustainable built environment projects – past, present and future! There are likely to be a number of other fun and inspiring features aimed at raising the profile of our members, and maximising the meaningful connections that can be made between them.
