Event description

Description

Washington based David Baldacci has sold over 110 million books worldwide. He has published 33 novels. All of them have been national and international bestsellers, and several have been adapted for film and television. His debut thriller Absolute Power was made into a Hollywood movie starring and directed by Clint Eastwood.

David has met at least four US presidents but not the most recent. He has close ties with the FBI and Secret Service agencies. Some agents relish in telling David about some of their missions knowing David will not compromise their identity or trust.

With family roots in Italy David Baldacci was born in Virginia and has been writing since he was a child. His mother gave him a lined notebook in which to write down his stories to shut him up.

David publishes two thrillers a year and he keeps them fresh by introducing new series characters. His latest is Amos Decker.

'

ALREADY among the world’s bestselling writers, Baldacci hardly needs to prove himself, but he’s created one of the most intriguing, complex anti-heroes. Impossible to put down, especially because of Decker, who weaves a powerful spell
