Event description

Description

UK Power Networks would like to make it easier to connect generation to networks where fault level headroom is the main constraint. The device we wish to trial is 20 times faster than traditional circuit breakers, and will help you get a quicker and cheaper connection in a fault level constrained area.

The Powerful-CB Customer Working Group will bring together customers and other stakeholders interested in the Powerful-CB trial and technology. The group will meet at regular intervals to discuss topics such as commercial arrangements, technical requirements, logistical considerations and others as the Fault Limiting Circuit Breaker moves through the trial. The group will help shape the next steps after the trial.

Tea and coffee will be served from 9am and we will promptly be starting at 9:30am.

This launch event will be split into sections:

  • 09:30 - 12:30 Welcome and introductions, presentations, and workshop for all members

  • 12:30 - 13:15 Lunch

  • 13:15 - 16:30 Customers interested in participating in the trial will have the opportunity to speak in more detail with the Powerful-CB team and vendor (Applied Materials) about potential trial sites. To book a 20 minute 1-2-1 appointment please email kellie.dillon@ukpowernetworks.co.uk

Please let me know if you have any requirements such as; British sign language interpreter, hearing loop, large print, accessible parking, disabled access or dietary needs as we will be providing lunch.
