Welcome to the UK Spa Association Winter Networking Event 2025!

We are delighted to announce our Winter Networking Event at Aldwark Manor Estate, Yorkshire.

About the Hotel

The Aldwark Manor Estate sits in 210 acres of beautiful countryside between Harrogate and York and has an 18 hole golf course. It can be easily accessed by the A1M.

The hotel boasts a fascinating history. Situated in a dedicated conservation area of North Yorkshire, beside the river and approximately 14 miles from York. Aldwark is mentioned in the Doomsday book and has links to William the Conquerors direct descendants, for whom the present manor house was built in 1865.

During the Second World War, the estate was requisitioned by the Home Office to house the Canadian Air Force and it was during this time that Guy Gibson spent time at Aldwark planning the famous Dam-busters raid.

After the war, the house was sold to the County Council, who used it briefly as a school for young offenders before selling it for development into a hotel and golf course in 1978.

The estate boasts 37 acres of land including 63 types of tree. It was bought by Marstons Brewery in 2002 and underwent progressive improvements. After changing hands in 2006 and then several times since, it was finally bought by a local family business, Depho Estates Ltd in spring 2019 and underwent a multi-million pound sympathetic refurbishment program. Following a further £15 million pound transformation, the golf course has undergone extensive redevelopment, whilst the spa is poised for a grand re-opening this year following major upgrades, with more still to come in early 2026.

Getting There – Aldwark Manor Estate

By Car - The address is: Aldwark Manor Estate, Alne, York YO61 1UF.

With easy access via the A1M. The hotel is approx. 13 miles from the cities of Harrogate and York, which is around 35 minutes drive to each. Ample parking with 8 x EV charges. Please note, if arriving via Little Ouseburn, there is a charming toll bridge, which requires a fee of £0.40 per crossing!

By Train - Cattal station is 6 miles away and sits on the direct line London/ Harrogate/ York LNER line. Transfers can be arranged directly with the hotel if required.

Overnight Accomodation for Tuesday 25th November

The Aldwark Manor Hotel is kindly holding 25 rooms for us on a first come, first served basis on a Bed & Breakfast rate and can offer UKSA members 15% off their flexible rate, at time of booking. Prices start at £157.25 for a single room on these rates but may vary according to room category. All rooms must be paid in full to secure your reservation. Please Quote UK Spa Association Event.

For those staying overnight at the hotel we highly recommend pre-booking a dinner reservation.

The Main Event - Wednesday 30th July

We look forward to welcoming you from 9.30am for Registration & coffee before a prompt start at 10am.

Kicking off our program with a fantastic Key Note speaker (watch our socials for further details) the day will include speaker sessions, plenty of networking time, supplier stands and a delicious lunch. The event should finish by 4.30pm, when we will bid you goodbye with a goody bag containing items from our wonderful event sponsors.

IMPORTANT EVENT INFORMATION

Due to previous confusion regarding bookings, we are adding some T&C's. Please read these carefully BEFORE making your purchase of event tickets.

By purchasing tickets, you are agreeing to these terms stated below.

Event Terms & Conditions

1) To book FREE tickets for this event through eventbrite, you must be a UKSA Member. If you are not a member but wish to attend our event please email us at:

2) Each member may book the number of tickets allocated by their membership type:

Operator 2 tickets

Supplier 2 tickets

Consultant 1 ticket

Individual 1 ticket

Educator 1 ticket

3) Operator & Supplier members, your second ticket is for a colleague from your own company and NOT a guest, without prior consent from the organisors. We reserve the right to block entry or charge the full Guest Ticket fee of £99 + VAT if prior consent has not been arranged.

4) Sponsors - you and your team are required to book a ticket per person. Unfortunately we are unable to allocate additional tickets to those already included in your membership allocation, even if you are a sponsor.

5) Please use your company/ work email when making your reservation, otherwise we cannot always tell who you are and may cancel your booking.

6) Please book each ticket under the name of the guest, who it is for. If there are multiple bookings under the same name, we reserve the right to cancel these.

7) If you are unable to attend the event for any reason, we kindly request that you email us at: manager@spa-uk.org to let us know, so we can invite someone off the waiting list.

8) As this is a Networking event, we reserve the right to share your contact details with other attendees, in order for networking to take place.

9) We will never sell or provide your contact details to any company who is not an event attendee or UKSA Member.
