Event description

Description

This conference is the brainchild of the University of Bristol’s Liberal Arts students. We would like to bring together students and staff from across the country who are part of a pioneering degree in the UK.

The day will include talks by notable interdisciplinary scholars, including Professor Robert Fowler, Dr. Sarah Dillon, Dr. Kathryn Telling and Dr. Liz Bird, all of whom are championing Liberal Arts and Sciences in UK Higher Education. It will involve a series of panels, talks and workshops run by both staff and students and will be closed with a keynote speech and drinks reception.

This conference offers what we believe is the first opportunity for our community to come together and share our experiences. We hope that our groundbreaking conversations will enable us to learn from the challenges and opportunities posed by our degree and form a vision for where we believe UK Higher Education should go in the future.

We look forward to seeing you!
