UK Veterinary Vaccinology Network Conference 2017

The Veterinary Vaccinology Network brings human and animal scientists, policymakers and those that work in industry together aiming at developing novel vaccines for animal diseases and those that can transmit into humans. The overall network aim is enabling a platform for future collaborations in veterinary vaccinology.


The UK Veterinary Vaccinology Network Conference 2017 will take place at Riddel Hall, Queen's University, Belfast. The Conference will focus on four themes: Microbiome and Immunology, Parasties and animal health vaccines for public health, TB and Emerging Technologies.


The Conference will include specific Early Career Vaccinologist Breakout sessions include:

Lunchtime ECVN session

A seperate room in the venue will host a lunchtime session for Early Career Researchers to network, view posters and hear about research from other Early Career Researchers.

Evening Drinks Reception: Early Career Researchers Pint of 'Comical' Science

10 Early Career Researchers are asked to present their research in a comical manner in 5 minutes. The funniest, uproarious and outrageous boffin will win a prize!
