Welcome to the ukactive Strategic Partner Group Event!

Join us for our first Strategic Partner Group Event for 2025, where we'll kick off the year with an event centered around the theme: "Looking Beyond Our Sector: What Insights Can We Gain to Maximise Opportunities and Drive Growth".

This event will aim to explore how insights from outside the sector can enhance customer service, decision-making, spark creativity and unlock opportunities for growth.

We will begin with a fireside chat led by David Hopkins MD and Founder of Proinsight, who are a leading provider of Customer Experience (CX) programmes in our sector, while at the same time working across other sectors with clients like Apple, Merlin, Mercedes & Hollywood Bowl on their CX.

David will be joined by Belinda Stewart, MD of Places Leisure. Having spent most of her career in the hospitality sector where she held various senior leadership roles, including for blue-chip hospitality brands Greene King and Wyndham Hotel Group, Belinda brings a wealth of comparable and out of sector experiences, to ultimately promote outstanding customer service throughout the 101 leisure facilities that Places Leisure manage on behalf of its local authority partners. Belinda will use insight gathered from her pervious roles to discuss how our sector can move the CX dial to help decision-making, spark creativity and unlock opportunities for growth.

Joining the conversation will be Jean-Claude (JC) who is the Founder and Managing Director or Foundry personal training gyms. Operating seven locations in London & the South-East, Foundry have spent the last decade creating and refining the customer-centric training gym model. Having won the prestigious “London Gym of the Year” award in 2023 and making the finals of the ukactive Regional & National Gym of the Year awards for the last four years running, Foundry has become renowned for its commitment to coaching and customer experience.

Routed in a philosophy of “world class at the basics”, Foundry are carving out their own niche with their premium but no-frills proposition. JC will use his experience from Foundry, as well as working directly with hundreds of independent training gyms, to discuss the many variables to that impact customer experience to drive community and retention.
