Does this ticket give me access to the main UK Beatbox Championships event?

No. Tickets for this event admit you to the UKBC FREE Vocal Arts & Beatbox Daytime Programme only which runs alongside the main UK Beatbox Championships event. If you wish to purchase tickets for the main UK Beatbox Champion

Are there any age restrictions?

This event is family friendly but we recommend for ages 6 and upwards. All under 18s must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian over the age of 21, at a ratio of maximum 2:1, maximum 2 under 18s for every 1 parent/guardian. Parent/guardian will need to provide ID.

What forms of ID will be accepted?

Forms of ID accepted ID will be required on entry to the event premises. We accept the following forms of ID: in date passport, Photo driving license. Forms of ID without a photo, or student cards will not be accepted. We do not accept photos of ID

Door Policy. Will I get searched at the door?

Accepted Answer

Yes, we will be conducting bag and personal items checks at the door. Any illegal substances, liquids (including water) and anything that may be dangerous (including aerosols and glass) will be confiscated. ID will also be required on entry to the event

Can I bring alcohol? Will alcohol be permitted at this event?

No, you can not bring alcohol and there will be no alcohol available at this event. We also have a strict no glass policy

If I leave, can I re-enter?

No entry after 1pm No re-entry to the event is permitted

Where can I get tickets?

All tickets for the UKBC FREE Vocal Arts & Beatbox Programme 12noon-2pm are available from EventBrite. Please note if you have made a voluntary donation for your ticket, donations can not be refunded if you can no longer make it to the event.

Can I buy tickets on the door?

You can’t get tickets on the door but if there is still availability you will be able to get a ticket online from EventBrite while at the door using your mobile device. We strongly advise securing your ticket in advance from EventBrite. Tickets are limited availability

We are committed to helping the environment. As part of our environmental and sustainability policy we are removing the presence of single use plastics. Please bring a refillable water bottle.

Parking and Disabled Parking

There is no parking at Trinity. Free on street parking is usually available for Blue Badge Holders within a 50 yard radius of Trinity including areas of Stapleton Road and Old Market. You can find out more about Bristol City Council’s rules on Blue Badge parking on the  Trinity Centre website.

Weather

This event is taking place outdoors and there will be no access to indoor spaces. The outdoor area features a stretch tent (festival style) marquee. Please keep this in mind, dress and prepare appropriately. We reserve the right the cancel the event if we consider weather conditions an issue

Accessibility Information: Venue Accessibility & Seating

Accepted Answer

This event is taking place outside. No access to indoor spaces. The smoking area is wheelchair accessible. Accessible toilets are available and a radar key system is in place, key available from duty manager. Live events are normally standing room only. Limited seating may be provided upon request

Can I bring my Guide Dog?

As a public space, guide dogs & personal assistance dogs are permitted. Please be advised, the volume of music at live events can reach continuous sound levels max 107db / peak level max 140db. As this could pose harm to your dog’s hearing, we recommend seeking advice from your guide-dog school

Deaf & visually impaired users

The venue does not have an Induction Loop. Visually impaired customers, deaf or hard of hearing customers are welcome to stand at the front of the event and we can make security aware of individual requirements. We are aiming to have a BSL Signer present at the event
