The UK’s Left has arguably never been more fragmented. The Greens have elected a new radical leader in Zack Polanski, Zarah Sultana and Jeremy Corbyn’s long-awaited new party is expected to be launched soon and the Labour Party is losing voters to its left and right at an unprecedented rate.

But what is driving these shifts? Can Labour reconcile its ambitions to tackle the challenge from the radical right and the radical left? How much pressure will the government face from the Party’s left, particularly after the recent reshuffle? And what do these changes in the left mean for UK politics more broadly?

As part of a series that will look to understand developments in both left and right wing politics in the UK, UK in a Changing Europe is bringing together a panel of leading left-wing figures to answer these questions and more. Join us online as we analyse the latest movements in UK politics.
