As part of Croydon Harvest featuring The Walnut Fair you can come to create your own Vinok and be amongst the best dressed at this wonderful autumnal event.
The Vinok isn’t merely a pretty accessory: the meaning of the wreaths traces back to Ukraine’s early history. Like most Ukrainian folk dress, the Vinok has significant symbolic value and are used in wedding ceremonies and folk festivals.
Workshops last one hour. All materials are supplied.
The activity is suitable for aged 7+. Family tickets are available for one adult with two children (aged under 16).
There are five family friendly workshops across the weekend (three on Saturday 4 Oct and two on Sunday 5 Oct) and one workshop for adults only (12pm Sunday 5 October). Each workshop is restricted to 16 participants.
On this page, you can book for workshops on Saturday 4 October. Please choose from:
Workshop one: Sat 4 Oct 12pm - 1pm
Workshop two: Sat 4 Oct 1.30pm - 2.30pm
Workshop three: Sat 4 3.30pm - 4.30pm
Please only book for one workshop!
