9.15am - 10am: Brexit and UK engagement in Horizon 2020 projects
This session will provide an overview of latest developments related to Brexit and explain how they impact on UK’s participation in Horizon 2020. Researchers will also have the opportunity to ask questions, which will be forwarded to BEIS.
10am - 11am: What is new in 2017?
This session will present the remaining opportunities for funding in Horizon 2020 calls for 2017 and highlight some of the most important changes that will need to be addressed during the proposal preparation and project management phases.
11am - 11.15am: Coffee break
11.15am - 12.30pm: Top tips for writing a successful ITN proposal
This session will provide top tips for writing a successful proposal for Innovative Training Networks, collected from successful applicants and expert evaluators. The next call, with an increased budget, is expected to have a deadline in early January 2018.
12.30pm - 1.30pm: Lunch
1.30pm - 2.15pm: MSCA Individual Fellowships
This session will present the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions Individual Fellowships scheme, supporting cross-border mobility of experienced researchers. This year’s call has an increased budget of almost €250 million and a deadline of 14th September 2017.
2.15pm - 3.30pm: Early information on the 2018-2020 Work Programme of Horizon 2020 and mapping opportunities for 10 internally-funded flagship projects
This session will present provisional information on the next Horizon 2020 Work Programme for period 2018-2020, which is currently being developed, to help researchers map the future opportunities for funding.
3.30pm - 3.45pm: Coffee break
3.45pm - 5pm: Individual meetings with UKRO European Advisor
These meetings provide an opportunity to discuss proposals for Horizon 2020 and other EU funding streams.
