This Autumn, a group of Hub members and Lambeth locals are meeting up to learn and practice tools from the collaboration movement and online course, U.Lab.
So far, U.Lab has been hugely popular among Hub members and non-members alike. Last year, a group of 25 community activists, entrepreneurs and council staff took part. 6 participants were so inspired that they adapted the U.Lab tools – and hosted another U.Lab around the theme of food in Lambeth.
This time, the purpose of the meet-up will be to practice tools such as deep listening, peer-coaching, mindfulness, whole systems thinking and prototyping. You can read all about the course here.
There won't be a teacher – as a participant, you are responsible for your own learning and for working with other participants to share and discuss what you know.
The U.Lab course is free. The only thing you're required to do to is follow this introductory 90-minute course, available now.
Learn new tools in listening, facilitation and connecting with others that you can take back to your organisation
Have space to think about the you direction you want to take in your life and work – with support from your peers
Build lasting relationships with change makers in the area
