Event description

Description

The ulabscot holding team came together in 2015, from across the u.lab Scotland community, with the intention of holding the space to encourage the growth and sustainability of u.practices in Scotland.

We have been meeting for more than two years now and last year opened up the holding team to the whole ulabscot community (i.e. anyone who is practising theory u/u.lab approaches in Scotland). The intention of these "Sensing" team meetings is to help everyone involved sense what’s happening across Scotland when it comes to u.lab and u.processes, continue to practise the approach when we meet and identify and work on the areas of potential we sense.

It's up to you whether you feel called to join in and how many meetings you can make.

It is the most regular opportunity for anyone in Scotland with u.lab experience to meet and we will meet anywhere in Scotland where someone is willing to host us.

You can see the range of dates in the "Ticket Type" - just order which dates suit you.

We invite you to bring your own lunch and snacks to the team days.

The venue for the meeting on 17 Jan 2018 will be:

McLean Building (Room D130)

Paisley Campus

University of the West of Scotland

(If you come straight down the drive from Paisley High Street, the Mclean Building is the first ground entrance on the right and the room is easy to find from there in the central corridor. If you come into the Main Reception in Brough Building, reception can guide you down a series of stairs to the same central corridor.)

We will update other venues as soon as we can. If you would like to host one in your area and can provide a venue, just get in touch!

We will also look to co-create the day so if you are interested in this or have any questions, get in touch with Keira (Keira.Oliver@gov.scot)
