Pluck up your courage and jump out of an aircraft at 13,000ft to raise money for Helen & Douglas House. This challenge is not for the faint hearted as you free fall through the clouds at over 120 miles per hour but fear not, you will be harnessed to a professional, parachute instructor to keep you safe. Registration fee: £50pp

Fundraising ambition: £400pp or more (£200pp is to have been raised by the jump date itself) - you can begin fundraising from the moment you sign up. From previous experiences, we have noticed that participants tend to surpass their fundraising target due to this being such a unique and thrill-seeking challenge.

Did you know...£300 could pay for three days of medical supplies for the hospice, helping us to support terminally ill children with symptom management and pain control.

Skydiving Terms:

- Participants must be over the age of 16 (a parent or guardian aged 21 or over must accompany you to sign consent forms if you are under 18). There is no upper age limit as long as you are physically fit and healthy you can self-declare by completing BPA medical form 115A which is attached to all booking confirmations.

- The maximum weight limit for the tandem skydive is 15 stone (95 Kilos). Divers will be weighed, fully clothed, on the morning of the jump.

- Please note, flight times may be delayed due to weather conditions, and you should expect to be at the centre for a minimum of half a day for your experience.

Training & Briefing:

- After a short briefing, you will be ready to jump from 13,000 feet. Training is run throughout the morning, and you will be strapped to the front of a tandem instructor who is there to control the skydive for you.

Dress code:

- The general guidance is comfortable layers and normal laced up trainers. Most people wear tracksuit bottoms or leggings with one or two base layers then the Helen & Douglas House t-shirt over the top.

- The average air temperature at 13,000ft will be between -10 and -14. Please ensure you wear lots of layers and bring some gloves if you wish.

- Before heading to the aircraft, please ensure you have no loose items on you. For example, glasses, mobile phones, loose change.

Friends and Family:

- We encourage friends and family to come along and join you on the day.

Weather conditions:

- There are only three conditions that will cancel the jump: solid rain, solid low-level cloud or a wind speed above 20 knots per hour.
