Ultrahaptics Open Evening and Tech Talk
Thu 30 March 2017, 16:45 – 18:30 BST
On 30 March 2017, we are opening our doors to fellow engineers and technologists to come and hear about our latest developments in haptic technology, see examples of our work, including our new VR haptic demo, and meet some our people at our new expanded office at Glass Wharf.
We will also give you an insight into new haptic applications through a 15 minute tech talk with our CTO and founder, Tom Carter, and hear why Ultrahaptics is such a great company to work for from our CEO, Steve Cliffe, whilst enjoying drinks and pizza!
Places are limited, therefore, confirmation of registrations will be issued on 24 March 2017.
Ultrahaptics has developed a unique technology that enables users to receive tactile feedback without needing to wear or touch anything. The technology uses ultrasound to project sensations through the air and directly onto the user. Users can ‘feel’ touch-less buttons, get feedback for mid-air gestures or interact with virtual objects.
Ultrahaptics is interested in speaking to talented people who live and breathe technology – problem solvers who can contribute fresh, new ideas and shape solutions for its global team at its Bristol HQ and new Silicon Valley office.
