Please join us for a breakfast event on “UN Sustainable Development Goals” on Thursday 26th January 2017, at Ruffer LLP, 80 Victoria Street, SW1E 5JL.

The Sustainable Development Goals strive to end poverty, protect the planet, and ensure prosperity for all. 17 goals have been set – with 169 specific targets to be met by 2030. All stakeholders: governments, civil society and the private sector, are expected to contribute to the realisation of the new agenda. For the goals to be achieved it is estimated $3 trillion need to be invested every year for the next 15 years.
One year on from the launch of the goals we will be asking 'what part investors can play', hear from leading experts on what steps need to be taken, the research tools available, and what challenges lay ahead.
Speakers: Kris Douma, Director of Investment Practices and ESG Engagements at the PRI; Carlota Garcia-Manas, Deputy Head of Engagement at the Church Commissions; Anne Meldau Research Analyst at oekom research, Samuel Mary from Keppler Cheuvreux and Franziska Jahn-Madell, Manager - Responsible Investment.
