About this event

We often talk about writers’ block, but creative blocks affect every kind of creative work—from painting and dancing, acting and, yes, entrepreneurship. When these blocks arise, we typically react in one of two ways: we either force our way through, burning energy with little progress, or we give up, feeling defeated and stuck.

As one of the three intrinsic pillars of Entreprenology (along with Awareness and the Science), Intermodal Expressive Arts Therapy (EXA) offers an alternative perspective: by recognizing that entrepreneurship is no less creative than any of the “fine arts," you can learn to view your blocks not as obstacles, but as an integral part of the creative process.

In this interactive workshop, you will engage in guided, self-expressive exercises designed to help you understand your creative blocks. Discover what they are trying to tell you and how this insight can shape the future of your startup and your personal growth. You’ll also gain practical tools to identify and manage these blocks, empowering you to overcome them and harness your creative potential.

Join us on a transformative journey to turn challenges into opportunities for innovation and self-discovery.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need any prior experience in art or creativity to attend?

Not at all! This workshop is designed for everyone, regardless of artistic background. No prior experience in painting, drawing, music, or any other art form is required. The focus is on self-expression, not artistic skill. In EXA work with the motto: “low skill, high sensitivity”

What exactly is Intermodal Expressive Arts Therapy (EXA)?

EXA is a creative approach that uses all art forms—such as visual arts, music, writing, and photography—to explore personal challenges. In this workshop, it serves as a tool for understanding and working through creative blocks in entrepreneurship.

How does this relate to entrepreneurship?

Entrepreneurship is a deeply creative process, requiring innovation, adaptability, and problem-solving. Just like artists, entrepreneurs face creative blocks. This workshop helps you navigate those challenges in a way that fosters growth and fresh ideas.

What can I expect during the workshop?

You'll be guided through engaging, hands-on activities designed to help you explore and better understand your creative blocks. There will be individual reflection, group discussions, and interactive exercises that encourage new perspectives.

Will I have to share my work with others?

Sharing is always optional. The workshop is a safe, judgment-free space, and you are encouraged to participate at your own comfort level.

What should I bring?

Mainly just yourself and an open mind! As the workshop is online, we won't be able to provide materials, so the minimum we ask of you is to bring a notebook, pen, pencil, eraser and blank paper. Any other materials (coloured pencils, crayons, markers, paints) are welcome but not compulsory.

What if I don't consider myself a 'creative person'?

Creativity isn’t limited to traditional art forms. If you’ve ever come up with a new idea, solved a problem, or adapted to a challenge, you’re creative! This workshop helps you reconnect with that part of yourself.
