The seminar will explore the role of youth and community work in collaboration with other educators and social professionals in responding to the increased precarity of young people living in communities across Yorkshire and the impact on transitions into adulthood.

Dr Gill Hughes, Julie Rippingale and Christine Smith are lecturers in Education Studies with extensive experience in Youth and Community Work.

Christine, Gill and Julie work in partnership with organisations working with young people and communities in the city of Hull and beyond. They all share a passion for Social Justice and approaches to working with young people and communities which are participatory and asset based.
