About this event
From his early life in Vietnam, his extensive journeys around the world, right up to the American war and his death in 1969. Kyril Whittaker presents this comprehensive look at the most famous revolutionary; a man apart in the International Communist Movement.
Kyril is a graduate of MA Political Science at Manchester University and volunteer at the Foreign Languages Press who is currently helping to create new volumes of Hồ Chí Minh's collected works. His interest in Vietnam stems from his family, and from his personal studies on topics of the writings of Lê Duẩn, Hồ Chí Minh and Women's Liberation in Vietnam. He has published work on both Lê Duẩn's concept of women's liberation and Vietnams coronavirus response, and is looking to publish on Vietnam's political ecology in the future.
