Under are thrilled to unveil the full artist lineup for its highly anticipated event series including; Hannah Wants, Sub Focus, Kurupt FM, Route 94, Turno, A Little Sound, So Solid Crew, Latmun, Charlie Tee, Sota, Prunk, Heartless Crew & many more sensational artists!

Under is returning with a 3 day event series on Early May Bank Holiday 2024. From Friday 3rd May until Sunday 5th May with different genres of dance music each day:

For the very first time, UNDER takes place on Friday night with the best (and only) pirate radio station in the whole of Brentford Kurupt FM (DJ Set) joined by garage legends So Solid Crew & Heartless Crew! Support comes from two rising stars in the UK’s garage scene Bakey and Oppidan, who was nominated as one of DJ Mag’s breakthrough stars in 2023. Local support comes from Mixology & Nearo’s trusted residents and Peterborough legend Nick T!

Saturday is hosted by Peterborough’s leading house promoter Mixology. Hannah Wants will make the short trip from Birmingham to headline a lineup full of talent from the UK and Europe. Known for her unique DJ style, Wants tops the bill alongside legendary Dutch label PIV’s head honcho Prunk, UK tech-house heavy weights Route 94 & Latmun and exciting new talent in the UK minimal tech scene Us Two and Jakkob. House lovers will no doubt hear familiar anthems that have been supported across the leading clubs and festival stages in the world.

On Sunday, BBC Radio 1’s Charlie Tee returns alongside her brand Unitee. Charlie will be joined by drum n bass loyalty Sub Focus, who cemented his title as an icon in the genre with his latest album Evolve, and Turno who broke through with his smash hit Rave Out featuring Charlotte Plank in 2023. The stacked drum n bass lineup also features the extremely talented female-vocalist A Little Sound and Sota, whose track Realise was played across the festival scene last summer. Completing the lineup is Diagnostix and DnB Awards 2024 Best Breakthrough DJ Nominee Tempa and the local crews from Sin Central, Strictly Soulful & Lovely Drop.

Alongside the main stage, UNDER will also debut its first-ever VIP-only stage with emerging talent from regional brands and labels which include Nearo, Arc, Zest, Source, Signal & Locality!

DAY 1: UNDER PRESENTS MIXOLOGY WITH KURUPT FM, SO SOLID CREW, HEARTLESS CREW, BAKEY, OPPIDAN +++ (FRI 3RD MAY)

Mixology returns for our sixth instalment of UNDER and begins on Friday night with the biggest Garage line-up Peterborough has ever seen featuring Mike Skinner, Kurupt FM, Bakey, Oppidan and support from Mixology, Nearo & Arc Residents plus Nick T & AJ.

KURUPT FM

From the BAFTA Award winning BBC Three Comedy People Just Do Nothing, everyones favourite pirate radio station hosts in the whole of Brentford (and probably the UK), Kurupt FM are making their way to UNDER!

SO SOLID CREW

So Solid Crew are a British UK garage and hip hop collective originating from Battersea, London, which achieved wide success in the early 2000s. The group consisted of many members, the most notable being Lisa Maffia, Harvey and Romeo which will all feature at Under with support from DJ Dan Da Man!

HEARTLESS CREW

The Heartless Crew are a UK garage crew from North London. The group has been credited for paving the way for grime music, alongside So Solid Crew! Its original members MC Bushkin and DJ Fonti will feature live at Under on Friday 3rd May!

BAKEY

Bakey's sound has been championed by industry heavyweights. His passion isn’t confined to the 4 walls of his studio. He is just as zealous when it comes to DJing with his iconic Boiler Room set being one of his standout performances to date.

OPPIDAN

Undoubtedly one of the fastest rising names in UK Garage, Oppidan has made a name for herself with her distinctive production style blending 2-step, 4×4 NUKG, Hip-Hop, Soul, Grime and UK Bass influences.

SUPPORT

Mixology ever-present resident DJs Tom Skinner, James Chan & Dan Clare will be joined by Peterborough DJ royalty in Nick T & AJ.

Arc & Nearo promotions featuring Brad Ivatt, Connor Lewis, Ellhaych, Elliott Lea, Ferris, Jake, Kuda , Raj Sangha, Robbin will be providing the vibes in the dedicated VIP area.

DAY 2: UNDER PRESENTS MIXOLOGY WITH HANNAH WANTS, PRUNK, ROUTE 94, LATMUN, US TWO, JAKKOB +++ (SAT 4TH MAY)

Part two of the three day epic UNDER May-day weekender is hosted by Mixology on Saturday 4th May with our most decorated line-up of artists to date featuring: Hannah Wants, Prunk, Route 94, Latmun, Us Two, Jakkob + Mixology, Source & Zest Residents and Toby Graham

HANNAH WANTS

One of the UK's most in-demand DJs in the last decade, Hannah Wants prides her sound and sets on spanning the vast subgenres of house; blending deep, tech, rolling, bass-driven and minimal sounds with classic influences in her own unique style.

PRUNK

Prunk’s stand out solo and collaborative material has seen releases via the likes of Defected & Djebali, and sold out events at seminal institutions such as Fabric, Elrow and Shelter. One of the most in-demand DJ / producers in house music globally.

ROUTE 94

One of the most influential dance music producers of the past decade and responsible for the number 1 smash 'My Love' Route 94 make his return to Mixo since his incredible debut at Mixology Warehouse. Having played at the world's most decorated institutions you can expect more hypnotic four-to-the-floor grooves from this talented maverick.

LATMUN

Being a staple on the worldwide circuit since 2016 and responsible for sellout shows at Mixo in 2018 & 2022, Latmun's enthralling sets have seen him also play regularly at world acclaimed venues such as Amnesia, DC10, Hï, WHP and Printworks. It's no wonder he is one of the UK’s most impressive and in-demand tech-house talents.

US TWO

Winners of ANTS 'Next Gen Award' their productions have been admired by ravers and DJs alike. ‘What’s Your Name’ was released on East End Dubs' imprint EastEnderz and was followed by ‘All My Life I’ve Been Dancing’, which reached the top spot on Beatport.

JAKKOB

Everyone's favourite TikTok party starter makes his debut UNDER the flyover for Mixo. Having played at sold out events across the UK and at festivals such as SGP, Dreamvalley and El Dorado you can expect a high-octane set!

SUPPORT

For the final time Dan Clare, James Chan and Tom Skinner will be warming things up as a trio as they have been doing best for the past 12 years. This will be Tom's final set before he hangs up his headphones so expect an extra special set from the crew.

SUB FOCUS

A dance music icon makes their way to UNDER with the eminent English DJ and producer, Sub Focus (Nicolaas Douwma) making his debut appearance under the iconic flyover! A career that has spanned 20+ years, and reshaped the electronic music landscape, Douwma remains as innovative today as he was when discovered by Andy C back in 2003 recently winning the Best Album at Drum and Bass Awards with 'Evolve'.

TURNO

One of the most talked about DJ / Producers in the scene today, Turno creates high-energy tracks that captivate audiences worldwide. Inspired by the likes of Shy FX, DJ Hazard, Pleasure and the late Dominator, Turno's intense yet infectious sound & releases can be found on his imprint ‘Time Is Now’ as well as several seminal labels.

A LITTLE SOUND

Maybe you’ve had your ears perked by her dreamy vocal hooks, or perhaps you’ve seen her Tik-Toks spreading the word about drum and bass. Either way, there’s a lot to love about this exciting talent!

Responsible for the vocals behind some of D&B’s biggest anthems in recent years, you can see this prodigious talent not only singing at UNDER but DJing too!

SOTA

After his first release on Low Down Deep in 2019, Sota has been focused on high energy music packaged for the dance floor. Collaborations with Logan D, Turno, and plenty more huge names, he is proving himself to be a household name in the future of both jump up and drum and bass as a whole.

CHARLIE TEE

DJ, broadcaster, journalist and deeply proud music nerd: Charlie Tee represents everything that’s special and vital about the new wave of inclusive energy exploding in dance music culture right now.

This will be the third instalment of Charlie's Unitee event at UNDER and you can bet Charlie will be bringing that infectious energy to her sets as ever with MC Savvy B!

DIAGNOSTIX

The London based artist has already played at the likes of Boomtown and Worried About Henry and has gained a reputation as a DJ with high energy mixes and the ability to light-up the dance floor thanks to his technical prowess.

TEMPA

When your family tree includes the likes of godfather Micky Finn, drum 'n' bass becomes woven into the fabric of the everyday in a way that's almost entirely unique. Tempa doesn't just select music, she selects moods and emotions, and she delivers them in the form of stunning beat and bassline explorations.

SUPPORT

MIXOLOGY

For the past decade, we at Mixology have built an electronic music promotion which is one of the most revered in the East of England region, attracting world-class DJs to headline across the year in Peterborough.

The eclectic lineup of previous headline artists includes the Brit Awards nominated duo Bicep, Michael Bibi, Patrick Topping, Solardo, Roger Sanchez, Kink, John Summit, Skream, Crazy P, Matthias Tanzmann, Tensnake, Simian Mobile Disco, Friendly Fires, Franky Wah, as well as BBC Radio One DJs Danny Howard, B.Traits & Charlie Tee.

Artists such as Alisha, Maur, Volaris, Micah Baxter, ADR and Roobinz have all played their first gigs at Mixology and have since gone on to be recognised nationally and internationally.

During the past 11 years, we have curated in excess of one hundred events that have been regularly featured in local and national press (The Guardian, Mixmag & BBC Radio One) including the spectacular ‘Mixology Warehouse’ event at Peterborough Arena (2015) and Under event series at Nene Park since 2021 August.

UNDER

The Under concept is an outdoor dance event that rivals any UK production of its size. Located beneath the Nene Parkway Flyover (Orton Mere, Peterborough). We bring the world's best DJs to Peterborough and pride ourselves on ensuring local DJs and producers have a platform to perform.

Expect more incredible electronic music and a pulsating atmosphere unlike anywhere else in the East of England! Launched in 2021 August; we now have 6 Under events behind us. All of our events in 2023 -including Under Fest in August have sold out.

UNIQUE LOCATION

UNDER is situated in idyllic, unique surroundings that juxtapose the concrete, industrial wasteland and the beautiful, scenic landscapes in the distance of the River Nene and Nene Park itself.

Under is located beneath the Nene Parkway Flyover – Orton Mere, Peterborough PE2 7DZ, UK (7 minutes from Peterborough Train Station & City Centre).

Last entry on Friday is 8pm. Last entry on Saturday and Sunday is 4pm with this ticket.

CAN I BUY TICKETS AT THE DOOR?

There will be no ticket sales at the door. If you haven't purchased your ticket in advance you will not be able to buy tickets at the door.

This is an 'over 18 year olds only' event! No ID No Entry. Please ensure you bring valid proof of ID on entrance with your ticket. This event is strictly over 18s only. Valid identification is as follows: Passport (must be in-date) / Driving License / Home Office accredited proof of age ID card / National ID card (must display pass hologram).

ACCESS / LOCATION / SAT NAV

Drop off point for Mixology UNDER is Orton Lock Car Park located at Orton Mere, Peterborough (please use the car park name (Orton Lock Car Park) for SAT NAV, not the postcode). The access will be through Oundle Road Orton Mere turn, Peterborough. The event is a 3 minute walk from the car park. Stewards & signage will be in place to direct you to the entrance. We do not recommend using the Boathouse / Rowing Club side for accessing or leaving the event.

PARKING

Besides Orton Lock Car Park, we will also have the Orton Mere Station Car Park in use for this event only. Both car parks are located at Orton Mere, Peterborough (please don’t use the postcode for sat nav, use car park name). Both car parks will be available with fees. We encourage using public transport / lifts / taxis. Parking charges are in place with the option to pay at a pay machine or via an app. Car parks are managed by Nene Park Trust and all parking fees go towards supporting the work of the Trust.

ENTERING & EXITING THE EVENT

There is no readmission to the event once you leave.

FOOD & DRINK

There will be a fully stocked licensed bar serving alcohol and soft drinks as well as food vendors selling a variety of hot and cold snacks on site. No food or drink can be brought in to the venue and will be confiscated upon entry. This includes empty bottles / containers. No food or drink can be taken out of the venue either.

You will be able to purchase our brand new Under t-shirt range, bucket hats, fans and lot more from our shop. Stocks are limited.

CASH & CARD PAYMENTS

Cash and/or card can be used on site to purchase tokens for use at the entry, at the bar and food vendors. Any unused / unwanted tokens cannot be exchanged or refunded so please purchase only what you intend to consume.

TOILETS

Mobile toilets, urinals & disabled toilet will be available on site.
