About this event

Family & Education • Children & Youth

Under Pressure supports practitioners to explore the various pressures that young people face today, including:

  • harmful online content
  • gender stereotypes
  • surveillance culture
  • the social & economic climate

This free, 2.5 hour session provides information about the pressures young people face that might be impacting their intimate relationships, and invites reflection about implications for practice. Practitioners will leave with heightened insight about these issues and ways to address them in their work with young people.

The session is open to all youth work practitioners across Scotland. This training is suitable for you if you have an interest in the subject area but don't feel you have enough knowledge and are looking to learn more. This training provides a starting point for thinking about how violence against women and girls can be prevented through youthwork, and is therefore less suitable for those with substantial prior knowledge.

You will receive a zoom link to the meeting a week ahead of the training. If you have not received the link, please check your junk email or email underpressure@zerotolerance.org.uk.
