Under the Austerity, the Beach: A Day of Counter-Culture
Feel like life is sometimes similar to chewing a tough toffee fit for a troll? Wondering what's next on the Torys' 'delicacies-of-despair' menu? Why not try something sweet, something bitter, something with a little bit of... spice.
Featuring offerings from Alan Moore, Melinda Gebbie, Robin Ince, Josie Long, Grace Petrie, John Higgs, and Francesca Martinez we will be spending the day... well. We're not entirely sure. But it should be enlightening, fun, and downright fabulous!
There is also music in the evening (at the SU bar on campus) from local bands such as 72% Morrissey, Trippah and Neumonics, and local singer-songwriters Jen Dobson and Kenneth J Nash; so we can get our groove on after we've had our minds blown.
