About this Event

It's "What the World's been waiting for", the return of Welsh "Surf-Folk" outfit Under the DriftWood Tree!

UDWT are a Acoustic Folk outfit known for their eclectic styles and unusual instruments such as digeridoos, djembes and accordions.

Self-described as Surf-Folk, the band are famous for their fusion of many different styles such as Folk, Folk-Rock, Acoustic, Indie-Folk and even Hip-Hop, the band were founded in Cardiff in 2008 by Chris 'Kitt' Stoodley (of the Voice of Ireland) over a shared love of not just music but surfing.

UDWT first found fame after being noticed by Fearne Cotton in 2010 and became well known outside of Wales after performing at the BBC Maida Vale studios, and since then have gone on to perform alongside UK music legends such ranging from Jack Johnson to Weezer.

UDWT's first comeback gig in their hometown of Cardiff, and their only Cardiff date for 2019.
