Ravensbourne Open Day: Saturday, 18 February 2017
Thank you for your interest in attending the Ravensbourne Open Day event.
Only students need to register their information; guests can attend without registering. If undecided between two or more courses, students are requested to book a place for the main course of their interest only. They will then be able to attend another subject talk of their choice without the need to pre-register.
Our subject-specific Open Days are designed to enable you to experience first-hand what it is like to study with us. During the event you can attend subject talks, take a tour of our facilities and meet with our friendly teams of staff and students.
Our campus is located next door to The O2; just 5 minutes away from North Greenwich tube and bus station. O2 paid parking area is available nearby.
Ravensbourne have partnered with Scape at Greenwich to provide halls of residence style accommodation. Located directly on the Greenwich Peninsula and just a short walk from Ravensbourne, Scape will be offering accommodation tours on the day of our Open Day, on Saturday, 18 February 2017. Please sign up for your preferred time slot by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org directly. Information on the available time slots as well as on how to submit your booking for an accommodation tour is available at the end of the FAQ section below.
Outline of the Open Day
Doors will open and registration will begin at 11:30am. Early birds that arrive before this time can grab a coffee or an early lunch in a wide range of local coffee shops and restaurants nearby.
Once you have registered at reception you will be ushered to a welcome talk. Subject talks will then start at 12:30pm and will last for one hour. After this you can attend another (repeated) subject talk at 2pm or visit members of staff in a dedicated visitors lounge to talk about admissions and the facilities on offer at our campus. We will also be running portfolio and showreel sessions throughout the afternoon.
The event ends at 4pm.
Prospective students may attend the event with family or a friend. However, due to limited space during the subject talks, guests may be invited to relax in a designated chill-out space. We therefore advise guests to bring a book, magazine or electronic entertainment to make the best use of their time between sessions.
We hope that you enjoy your visit, as well as take advantage of our unique location on the Greenwich Peninsula amongst coffee shops, restaurants, pubs and the Emirates Air Line. Why not plan other activities too.
Once registered on this web link please keep checking our Ravensbourne website open events page for updates: www.ravensbourne.ac.uk/courses/open-days
Please email any queries to: email@example.com
We look forward to welcoming you to Ravensbourne!
